The book didn’t mention much more of them - but did go into the strange practices of the Priests of the Rending - the author notes that, although the priests were far from correct, the Rending was one of the acts aligned closest with the Flame that had happened in their history.

I find it curious that the Judge - Consort of Aeia - would grow into the monster he became. He was even named for his Rage, later in his immortality.

“Did he seem… tired?”

The basket glowed green when it was full. When he placed a hand on its handle, he teleported, brought face to face with the farmer.

Kino jumped off of Ison's shoulder as the former king walked forward. "Flame promised me something great. I need to reach him."

“That’s the problem. In history, he fell asleep, allowing the Twins to kill him and steal his eyes, becoming deities.”

The book was a generic history book. However, in the index, the book had many, many references.

The farmer gave him the stink eye. “That’s not enough. I need more.”

He was sent back.

Yeah but she’s staying with Aela and she’s embarrassed about it

He didn’t seem to mind. He hummed a bit as he harvested.

Aela raised an eyebrow.

She pushed the book over to Felicity and pointed out the passage.

She looked at it for a few seconds and nodded.

"Steal his eyes? Ok then.....  can we get to the part about my mission? Or is this whole lore thing important."

“It depends. We need to figure out why the Slumber occurs, and… stop it.”

He pointed to a door. “I believe the others are already researching?”

Ison sighed, seeing that arguing was pointless, and gathered the rest of the corn. This time, he waited until all the corn was gone to grab a handle.

FINE

The Rending was a period of time in which Tel, the First Render, inherited the power of the Ashes in order to separate the forces of Aeia and Keylana permanently - Aeia was referenced as the Duchess of Light.

She nodded as well, then pulled the book back and continued reading.

It mentioned something about a the Ichor - how it strengthened The Judge and powered his immortality.

Thrre wasn’t much mention of the Flame.

Ashwan is wearing a leather jacket and jeans. And a sword with very detailed hilt.

Seraphina has gold blonde hair and white jeans. Also a white tunic.

She waved to them.

It was grand, and detailed the life of the Eternal King - it had lots of gaps in its knowledge, though.

The Eternal King fell between the islands during the Rending, leaving his Queen to govern - he survived within, just barely. No one is sure why.

@Spark of Hope

The farmer looks at the basket, and the corn disappears. “Why are you here?”

@Argenti may be interested to hear about this.

It references his emergence - the Healer brought him out of obscurity just before the rise of the Great Spirits.

Who do you think the Healer is?

@Hawks

It was a history of the one who came to be known as Madness - including the time she posed as a Priest of the Rending.
