The man shrugged. “You could become an Ash. Be warned, though. The teacher is demanding.”

"The hell is an ash!" He said still yelling

“They keep the peace. The do the closest thing to fighting that there is.”

He growls

 "Well. I'm doing this on my own then." He storms to find another door.

He finds a room full of small, round disks of the same material as the statue. They were kept on shelves.

He grabs the disks and looks for anything to put them in

As he puts his hand on one, an illusion is projected, displaying a battle on the wall.

He intently watches the battle. Seeing if he can identify anything as some of pyks tech, or Asher or pyk or anything he knew.

You can’t.

They are very powerful, even before they were directly powered by the Flame.

  @Hawks

A force of cloaked figures were tearing through forces of soldiers wreathed in flame. One of them was labeled as the “Render.”

He analyzed the battle patterns and comments on whichever side is doing something even slightly wrong.

Sort of. It was not the full force - it’s like you were taking the power from an outlet.

Even the Ashes have similar issues.

Heck, even when Aeia and Keylana stole the Flames eyes, it was still slightly diluted.

The Render was winning.

By a freaking lot.

Like

It was embarrassing. The battle came to an end - the Render victorious - but the clip didn’t stop. The Render identified a spy - capturing her and bringing her to a hill overlooking another battle. He executed the woman, leaving her there. The video kept rolling.

(Almost to the important part.)

She looked over them.

"They're for you to study. Go through them and recite the ones you remember."

"This is useless. Comeon! Give me a better option then sitting around doing nothing! I'm not waiting ten years for some lazy dumbass people to get their reading figured out!"

Aela glared at them.

HEY

THE woman was being mind controlled and couldn’t do anything.

The Render entered a small home, walking to a tree and catching something as it fell from the air. He seemed… weighted down by something.

@Through The Living Glass

She noticed him watching a “video” in another room.

She nodded. “Okay.”

”.. maybe we can use the statue for now?”

She nodded.

"If you want."

“It’d be faster, so..” She picked up the book she’d been pretending to read.

“This book details the actions of the Render before he became the Render! It is rather interesting…”

The statue prattled off, e informing her that the Render a) Started as a farmboy b) became a soldier for Kilad c) tried to kill Keylana d) Keylana gave up her power, and he became the Render.
