Because he always has.

And. He. Always. Will.

Jakob grab the rebelious power, grabs his sub conscious and thrusts it down, into the Void within himself. He is a god now, despite his best efforts, and he will not be questioned. This power, this life, it sickens him. He wants nothing more than it to all end. Whatever dead god decided to give him the power was not only foolish, but clearly understood nothing of Jakob's nature.

"Get. Out." He whispers, coming from many places at once.

“I can help you.”

“I can help you.”

He turns towards the figure, Jakob's form a mass of twirling, crackling darkness, a thusand eyes burning from the depths within.

"I. Said."

"GET. OUT."

His voice booms now, like thunder against the stone.

"I have killed you before Intellect." He sneers, whatever forces now under his control begin to thrash, angry, aggressive.

Get out of my head.

Except the force isn’t angry, and it isn’t aggressive.

The Still Wind sighs, “Why do you hate? You are wrong. Hatred is not your normality, I have seen it in your anguish.”

Can Jakob silence the still wind?

Aela looked over at him, worried.

I need to actually know what I can do with this power.

So far it's just been vague magic.

Can i destroy things? Create? Do I control the power? Is it influenced by my emotions?

Jakob pushes away the still wind.

"Leave me." His voice like a breaking wave.

The figure dissolves, reappearing on the other side of the room. “I am here, if you want me.”

The figure turned, then dissolved in a nonexistent wind.

We could have the next sequel be about Jakob as a deity with the others

like

Jakob needs help! Characters should help!

If we do that, u and Spark wud be GMs (I mean, Spark already is, but it was a little difficult with my kinda erratic plot. I think Heir also was.)

Felicity watched him leave.

Her father hesitated. “Who was…”

”Intellect,” she said quietly. The real him.

Jakob is...

Not very well suited to being a god.

I don't think he's going to destroy the world.

I think he's going to stand by and let the world pass. Like... just ignore the world and rest.

Yep.

And that would cause unbalance. Canonically, you done be chosen because of your pragmatism.

@Spark of Hope@Argenti@Through The Living Glass

The Still Wind appeared, alone.

He looked down at his translucent body, reflecting on what had happened.

So many lives, so many names. So many agonies. He wasn’t fixed.

He wasn’t fixed. But he was patched. He was healing. He hoped that the other could see that… that they could feel it.

The cloth would chafe. But it kept them them.

Closing his eyes, he sat, and let wind pass by.

How long would it be, until they found that truth?

he was Pragmatic. he still kinda is.

but he's also lost everything he's ever loved, thrust into a world he doesn't understand by powers beyond his control, transformed into a form that disgusts him- He's sad, he's angry, and he doesn't trust the world to not just rip it away again.
