One, found unconscious in a nearby warehouse, had been luring victims in and killing them permanently. These people are very dangerous - do not approach them. The woman next to Jakob - the one talking about the Rending - gasped. “I can’t believe anyone would do anything like that.”

The Deep does have organization - but the vast majority of people you meet who support it aren’t actually part of that - they’re just echoing the same ideas.
