[Through the Living Wrath he/him]

A procession of four figures marched into town square, waving at the crowds around them. One of them stepped forwards. “Greetings, all those who have joined us in this journey for a better city.

”The journey will be difficult. And the Flame cannot force it. But I believe that it will happen. Thank you all.”

The figure turns away, and the procession moves on towards the General district.

A group of Four approached the town square from the General district, stepping up to a stand.

One of them, a woman wearing blue, stepped up to the podium. “It has come to our attention that a certain group of cult-like figures have started to disrupt the peace, calling themselves the Heralds of Immortality. One, found unconscious in a nearby warehouse, had been luring victims in and killing them permanently. These people are very dangerous - do not approach them.

The woman next to Jakob - the one talking about the Rending - gasped. “I can’t believe anyone would do anything like that.”

The Rending is a more organized cult - the followers were actually part of an organized religion (the specific people you are meeting rn are more religion than cult.) before they came here.
The Deep does have organization - but the vast majority of people you meet who support it aren’t actually part of that - they’re just echoing the same ideas. The Deep is named after their teachings bc it puts the user into a trance-like, sleepy state.

“We don’t worship the rocks. We don’t worship anyone. Rather, we give gratitude to the Father of Planets for his ultimate sacrifice, and apply lessons learned from the Rending to our own lives to reach peace.”
