IcedOutPenguin He/Him Posted March 7, 2025 Posted March 7, 2025 Im just curious what your opinions are about this, but I believe that a new generation of sharders has come online/active in the past three months (basically November 2024) and has helped replenish the numbers of many people who have been going offline for periods of time. I hesitate to call myself part of the "New generation," but if I am, then I am one of the spearheaders of this new generation. Most notable new generation sharders: @सत्य हेर्ने, my goodness, it is impossible to ping you. @dezaS @Βοηθήστε is a similar boat as truthwatcher. It's hard to ping you! I might have forgotten many people. What is your opinion (and does anyone know how to ping either of the two above) 2

I joined a while ago but only really began interacting recently.

Essentially, be a good online citizen rather than making mistakes until people call you out or have to report to the mods to fix things - they are busy enough as it is. I'm sorry if that sounds unsociable; but, for example, one new person posted three threads in three wrong forums in less than a week (including duplicating the exact same mistake the day after they were gently corrected by Taln (Spoilers in a Thread title)). Also, my normal request to please consider checking out the Sharder FAQ for some useful forum info and tips. Edited March 8, 2025 by Treamayne SPAG 4

What is your opinion (and does anyone know how to ping either of the two above) I find this to be interesting as a sharder of this generation who joined an aging rp subforum right before they started a large advertising project. Additionally I wonder what the traits of this generation are, especially since this has been an era with a dramatic increase in cosmere connectivity, and due to that, more reading order complexity and debate
