Pokemon Mystery Dungeon RP Signups/Interest Thread

[Through the Living Hope]

Basically we're all Pokemon and we go into caves forests etc to help other Pokemon. We'll see if plot is a thing that exists if anyone has any ideas.

Character sheet (with my character)

Name: Vail

Species: Espurr

Nature: Brash

Backstory: She and her twin brother ran into mystery dungeons after he lost control of his power and exiled himself from their village.

Moves: Thunderbolt, Expanding Force, Moonblast, Shadow Ball

Nature: Own Tempo. Post-evo, Competitive.

Anything else: She was an attacking prodigy in her village, and she liked teaching other Pokemon how to control their powers. Very protective of her brother.

Question: what moves would we be allowed to assign our characters. Just any move that they’ve gotten ever? Or their moveset as of the latest gen they appeared in?

Moveset of the latest generation they have appeared in. And I'd like if people weren't overpowered unless they have a valid reason to be. Example, Expanding Force has the potential to be an extremely powerful Psychic type move if certain criteria are met, and Vail and her twin meet that criteria.

Species: Murkrow

Nature: Quirky

Backstory: He's the shopkeep and nobody really knows where he came from.

Moves: Thief, Night Slash, Aerial Ace, Confuse Ray

Ability: Super Luck

Anything else: Very showy, loves pranks, extremely agile and dexterous. Usually wears a hooded black cloak that's frayed at the edges.

If you don't want to, I can. And I know I can always edit posts, it was just kind of a feeling that I wouldn't do it the same justice as you. I am perfectly willing to if you don't want to, but I want it to be your choice

Here's an updated character sheet, with a Jolteon for my character:

Species: Jolteon

Gender: Male

Nature: Timid

Backstory and personality: Le cliche amnesiac Iseki. [idk, just wanted to put something here, might make him a self insert or something.]

Moves: Electro ball & Electro ball & Electro ball & Electro ball (In Pmd, you can link moves together, as denoted by the "&" in between the moves, and you can upgrade moves as well, denoted by a +n next to the move's name, and in red/blue rescue team, you can learn the same move multiple times.)

Ability: Volt absorb (might change to quick feet)

Held item: Choice scarf (good boost to speed, but you can only use one move, until you choose a different move outside of battle. Hence why I linked 4 electro balls together.) 

Anything else: any relations to pre-existing Jolteon OCs from popular comics are purely coincidental.

Sorry for the brain rot

I’ll probally base my character off a Pokémon from Ike my competitive teams

Don’t know much Pokémon that aren’t in the meta

 

Name: Deimos

Species: Ceruledge 

Nature: Jolly

Backstory: His father was a historian and while playing in the museum with some historical malicious armor he evolved  into a ceruledge. After a couple years his father  sent him to locate any historical artifacts he can find from mystery dungeons

Moves:  Bitter Blade, Night slash, shadow claw, swords dance

Ability: Weak armor

held item: rocky helmet (it’s a good pair with weak armor. So  the in world explanation for this, is that if rocks fall on him the helmet protects him [cuz it’s a helmet, that’s not what the item dose] and his weak armor can activate boosting his speed, also if he gets attacked the helmet dose damage back to the attacker)
 

Anything else: He’s studied lots of Pokémon history and is pretty smart, but he is very irresponsible

This took long, tell me if anything needs changed

 

Name: Brutis

Species: Kingler (or Krabby)

Nature: Lax

Backstory: Brutis is laid-back, He’s not much of a fighter unless his friends are in trouble  then he’ll step up without hesitation.

Ability: Shell Armor

Held Item: Assault Vest

Moves: Hammer Arm, X-Scissors, Surf, Rock Tomb

Anything else: a very nice Pokémon, when he is provoked he can pack a punch.
