Ghostbloods will there be less combat?

do you guys think? There will be a lot less combat and. Killing. In era 3 bc in era 1  there’s no surveillance so it’s pretty easy to get away with murder also killing is a lot more widely accepted in era 1 bc they’re all sensitized to it. and in era 2 wax is a constable so he has the law on his side.but since era 3 is set in the 1980s time period there’s probably gonna be surveillance cameras. Also, from the descriptions of the main character we got. She doesn’t sound like a fighter or is gonna be a constable.

I think there still will be a lot of combat and killing. The name of the third era is Ghostbloods and they are a secret, underground organisation with a very specific goal in mind - protect Scadrial from all threats. One of those threats will most likely reappear - Autonomy. One of Brandon's ideas for Era 3 was to tell the story of the Allomancer SWAT team, they seem to still be a part of the series so this tells us he planned to have a lot of action and shooting in Ghostbloods. And of course, Kelsier is a troublemaker.

And after doing a very quick google search, the homicide rate in the USA was at its maximum in the 1980s-90s, peaking in 1991 despite the popularization of surveillance cameras. The Ghostbloods trilogy has a big potential for a lot of action and shooting happening in it.

You've dropped a few tidbits about the plot of the next Mistborn series over the years. Putting all those things together, we have a nicrosil Ferring Terriswoman hacker recruited for fieldwork in an "Allomancer SWAT team" to chase a Mistborn serial killer. Could you give us a more recent and concise pitch/blurb if the above is no longer accurate?

Ha. That's not far off, as all of those things still exist in the series, though the weight I'll give them is relative. With the Alloy series covering some of the police procedural aspect of storytelling, I'm inching the outlines slowly away from the SWAT idea and toward more spy thriller--but the SWAT team isn't not gone completely. (Of course, who knows what will happen in the intervening years between now and when I write it.)
