There was so much. Everything was so dark until she got to the clinic. He was able to find her memory of the place quickly

Aventine lied in a field, the song she mumbled in reality rustling through the leaves in the wind. The plants were green, just like in the clinic. It made her wish Scadrial had green plants, as well. And the flowers - she'd read descriptions, seen artists' renderings on what they believed flowers would look like. (She didn't know this, but they were mostly evening primroses, coreopsis, and blanket flowers.) The sky was blue, which suited it much better than red did.

Elan took it in briefly, then pulled away, looking into Aventine's eyes sadly. "That was beautiful."

"I'll ask around." He said, sending out a little memo to the Elans and asking if they knew the place.

He squoze her hand, then lifted one of his hands to her chin and lifted her head to look her in the eyes. He stared into them softly, wrapping his arms around her.

She.. didn't dislike this. Him holding her. But part of it felt strange. She did love him, but.. she loved Pic too... She was torn, but she didn't want Elan to know. She kept those thoughts to herself.

He placed a hand on the back of her head, holding her close. "I'm so glad you did."

He could feel that something was wrong. He guessed it had something to do with her past, which was a sensitive topic he knew, but he wouldn't read her mind—that was a breach of privacy he wouldn't mess with.

A location came up in his mind, sent by one of the Elans. 

"I found your place."
