Maybe there’s something to be said for the trauma route; Rebus’s questions on secondary motives are legitimately still unanswered.

There is always the possibility of giving characters onscreen trauma.

Actually, I realize now that it's possible that Moni has enough trauma to make up for all my other characters.

Hmm. Now that I think about it, Rebus should have a lot more trauma. He comes alive when I think about him, but unless I actually post he’s unable to do anything that matters. And he knows about the time I’m not thinking about him, too, which is in some ways worse.
