I like TAAron.

That's my oldest character. I made him as soon as I joined the Shard and found the Clinic. He's changed a lot over the years, mostly by necessity because he didn't start with any sort of canon.

Totally not following along with his and Haly's story or anything

I'm glad you like him. His backstory is cannibalized from something I wrote in middle school and his magic system was pretty much made up on the spot

I wouldn't be surprised if there have been a bunch of inconsistencies in his character and backstory at this point. It's been a while and it's often too much effort to review everything I wrote before when I come back to it after a while.

I don't know. I would feel weird saying he's a good character because I'm not that great of a writer, and I don't know that his character could be considered very complex. I kind of just do it by vibes.

HAIII so….. i am just… i love making ocs and ( I made an entire thread for Asher’s backstory) and like…. I wanna see what others oc backstory’s look like, cause i tend to be really mean to my ocs in that section.

Beosta did a murder and is working through the effects of that, Rose was severely neglected and micromanaged at the same time, and Bat was bullied relentlessly cuz he kept breaking things because of the bullying

so

and then ofc we have Ben whose girlfriend was killed by the evil ppl, G who killed her father, Joel who still doesn’t know G (his sister) killed their father, Falcon who was tortured relentlessly for two years… 

yeah  

OH AND ISADORE who watched her mentors slaughter her village and then killed them in return
