king of nowhere Posted January 20, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 pretty much as the title says. I ordered my copy of wind and truth on december 8 with amazon. i didn't get premium shipping because i figured, getting the book a few days later wouldn't be an issue. a couple weeks ago i checked my amazon account and found a notification that my order was delayed, and they were asking me if i still wanted it sent, or if i would rather cancel it. i confirmed to send it. since then i'm checking regularly, my order still results as not yet shipped. do other people experience similar delays? at which point should i try to contact the customer service?

I wonder if they had to return a bunch to the distributor for errors like this, and that may be causing fulfillment delays. 1

Your answer is probably more accurate, but I once ordered a book that got delayed and delayed and delayed... I eventually was listening to the news, and heard about that big ship crashing through a bridge in... Baltimore?... and when I checked Amazon again, guess where it said it was shipping from? I don't know where it's coming from for you, but if it were coming from California, I wouldn't be surprised if all the fires going on there are disrupting supply chains going out from that area. 2

It was delayed well before the fires, but i see the point
elias888 Posted January 24, 2025 Posted January 24, 2025 Just one of those annoying delays that happens sometimes, especially with bigger orders. I wouldn’t worry too much yet.
