It isn’t dangerous, necessarily. Just… an implacable strangeness.

Perhaps he should avoid more of these wounds.

After they walk-éd for a time, a woman approached them, haggard and wounded.

"That's... odd? Weird. Is Fear gold? I bet it's a wound on my mind or something. This whole mountain is an acid trip." He shrugs, and keeps climbing "I wonder if Andra survived that."

His hand struck a small nest of bugs, each glowing gold. He squished them, only for them to regrow and sting his hand before flying away.

This is all buildup to the promise, don’t worry.

". . . Hello? Are you alright?"

The woman looked up, and Aela recognized her. “It’s gone… the library… something went wrong with the protections… the storm destroyed it.”

"Have I been drugged with something?" He wonders aloud as he climbs. He wraps his hands just in case again. "Why so much agonizing gold?"

Imagine that as storming

"So. Man. You look injured. Wanna let me get behind you or we gonna have to fight?"

"I wil take that as a no." He swung his bo staff, releasing fire, frost, and wind, careful not to get close.
How wide is the platform?

How wide is the platform?

The platform is about the size of an average bedroom.

The wind, frost, and fire each seemed to… unravel… as they reached the Ichor. The bear leapt into action, taking wounds where there wasn’t Ichor, bleeding regular blood. It dived towards you.

”I don’t know… Intellect’s protection against the winds just… stopped…”

These reactions are very calm

and slightly confused.

The woman had a sliver of metal lodged in her gut.
