They were woken by the sound of the door opening.

“I… have Judged you… worthy.”

A map appeared on the floor, along with detailed instructions. It was visible only to Aela, and it seemed to have an… unreal… quality to it. 

“Do not disappoint us.”

There was no source of the voice.

 

She didn’t wake up.

She slept for around nine hours. She expected to wake to sunlight. She’d forgotten, for a brief moment, where they were and what had happened. But then she remembered, and pain gripped her heart again.
