NotLiamRoss He/Him Posted January 5, 2025 Posted January 5, 2025 Sorry if this is the wrong board to post this in or if other people have already found this, but I just got my WoR leatherbounds which came with a copy of the Stormlight playing card deck and I couldn't help but notice a pattern in the non-sapient spren which are depicted on the A-10 cards in the deck as laid out on this card We know that some of these at least are armorspren for the various orders, filling out the other orders (ordering by the surges) we get the following list (ones which are speculative based on this list I have marked with an asterisk) Windspren-Windrunner Gravitationspren-Skybreaker Flamespren-Dustbringer* Lifespren-Edgedancer Concentrationspren-Truthwatcher* Creationspren-Lightweaver Logicspren-Elsecaller Joyspren-Willshaper* Bindspren-Stoneward* Gloryspren-Bondsmith I know this is obviously non-canon and a non-text source, but does anybody else think this is at least promising? Any thoughts? 3

Argenti he/him Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 I mean, I guess? But I question why stoneward's spren is bind spren. Why are spren that appear around Adhesion their plate? Also, are you the one to add this to the coppermind? I see someone did, today.

Just because one scene showed Bindspren around one type of lashing does not mean they are exclusive to that Surge. . . Just a guess though. 1

Mhh yeah, good point. They change bonds. It fits. I guess I'm just hung up on how all the other platespren are very common, except bindspren. 1

Wasn't it noted that LogicSpren and ConcentrationSpren are rare-to-absent entirely in the East (I don't think any showed up in Alethkar or the Shattered Plains) but were all over Kharbranth (Jasnah, specifically) Urithiru, and Azir? 2

It's definitely, possible that many people made this connection independently, and like I said it hasn't been confirmed in the text yet so I wasn't ready to add to the Coppermind myself. We had some of these answers from the Nexus 23 Q&A and expected this was coming. The Keepers have been working and planning for the information to be updated, once available (and some of them may have received their Leatherbound package before the holidays). 1
Dofurion Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 This topic has already been touched on in this post: Honestly, I expected the Bindsprens to be the Sprens associated with the Sibling (each Godspren having a different one) but the way things are going it seems that the list will be the same as the image, with the peculiarity that the Nightwatcher seems to share the same sprens as the Edgedancers (lifesprens) and the Sibling would have a set of 2 (lifesprens + glorysprens).
