Should I sign up for the Cosmere RPG?

I'm wondering, I want to get the Stormlight RPG Handbook and World Guide, and later all three Mistborn RPG books.

Would it be more cost-effective to wait for the to come out and buy individually, or should I still sign up?

I do not know if we have an MSRP for these after the Kickstarter. I would imagine they will eventually be on DriveThru RPG and other vendors, You could hedge your bet and just get a PDF now so you can read/review it to see if you want to invest more time/money at a later date. It likely depends on your budget and finances.

It sounds like the "World Guides" will be the story/lore relevant portions if you want to focus there before investing in the Handbooks, Dice, Plot Deck, etc. (I'm not even certain if those will be optional or required).

My thought is that you'll end up saving money by getting the books on the backerkit/kickstarter late pledge, since the hardcopies will come with free pdfs, and I think the books will end up being more expensive when released separately.  I ordered the books on the kickstarter for that reason and to get them as soon as they released.  Can't wait until the PDFs for the stormlight ones come out in the summer!

I think if you want to save costs, you should get it now. There is also no guarantee that the stuffs will be released individually after kickstarter event had finished.
