It would seem to me that he could not longer fight in the contest or the simple reason that you cannot be your own champion. So how is this supposed to work? 4
LewsTherinTelescope Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Dalinar already uses the terminology of "be my own champion", that doesn't seem to be a restriction. If Honor bound himself to similar rules around harm as he bound Odium then it could be a problem, though. 1
CognitiveShadow he/him Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 My biggest concern is that he doesn't try to take up the power until during the contest, which technically results in his "death" as he ascends. Therefore losing the contest. 2
