"Well," Aela said in-between bites, "We need supplies, that's for sure."

The castle is not a far walk from here. They will have supplies.

“I meant once we get to the guy we’re supposed to… you know…”

Spare him, please. I think I owe Intellect that, and I probably would have asked you that anyways.

"Oh. We're not killing him, don't worry," she whispered so only Felicity could hear her.

“I don’t want to kill him,” she said to both of them. “I just… I’ve been going over different scenarios in my head. If we don’t, either the earl kills us or we live on the run. And both of those keep me separate from my dad for even longer than this is.” She put her palms to her forehead and raked her fingers on her scalp.

Spoiler

Maybe I can’t make you. But I can strongly suggest you do.

Spoiler

My math teacher last year didn’t require homework. It was available, but every 3-5 days we’d have a quiz covering what the homework did and that’s what he graded.

I’m pretty sure I’m studying secondary math education in college, and that’s how I think I want to go about homework.

Anyway, Felicity’s stressed!

I said that a detective needs to find my murderer.

It’s kinda sad cuz I found the necessary vocab, wrote the story, transcribed it to the presentation paper, and I STILL don’t know my part.

“Thank you.”

She turned to Aela. “This cost a decent chunk of what I made last night, so we should probably share. We don’t know what money we’ll need.”

Cole puts a decent amount of money on the table. “I did stop at my workshop before we left. It’s not like I actually need it.” He tries to hear the whispering, but the tavern is loud.

"That'll definitely be helpful. Thanks."

Aela hugged her.
