What do I need to read?

As the title suggests, what do I need to read before KOWT? Without spoilers would be nice (I'm aware I'm on the spoiler thread). I'd hoped to reread the whole Stormlight Archive before it came out, but I'm currently working through Johnathan Strange and Mr Norrell and 4000-ish pages after that in a month or two feels like a task.

I've read all the cosmere except for the following: 

Emperor's Soul

White Sand

Secret Projects (roughly halfway through Tress, haven't started the rest).

I also haven't been keeping up to date with the preview chapters as I wanted to read it in one piece (I did read the prologue yonks ago though).

Brandon has suggested reading The Sunlit Man before Wind and Truth. Otherwise, the other things you haven't read are all still good. I don't see Tress and Yumi being relevant, it is unlikely but possible for Emperor's Soul to be relevant, and White Sand has already had a minor 'cameo' from part of its magic system.

If you have not read the emperor's soul, I suggest you read Arcanum unbound.  I think the misborn stories in that collection will also have relevance, and Emperors soul is in there too, so it is a better 'value' in what you get

White Sand seems to mostly only come up with a few easter eggs and the actual white sand itself, which you may notice from time to time. Emperor's Soul is quite relevant to a certain other recent Cosmere book, and I haven't read it myself, but it's a good read I've heard.

Sunlit Man is the big one.

Also, be careful here without keeping watch on the preview chapters.

Have you read Mistborn Secret History? I think that would be important

I've read everything in Arcanum unbounded except for Emperor's soul I think (I got it before reading Elantris).
