Sharlin stumbled out of the way in time, barely recognizing that her shot had missed. Something was wrong with those blade Aerol was shooting, and Sharlin did not want to get hit by one again. Her middle still felt horribly numb even though the blood was starting to spread through her top.

The pebble wacked Sharlin in the temple, breaking the skin there but not doing much more.

"Hey! If you're going to attack me, do something that isn't annoying," She grumbled through gritted teeth.

Sharlin ignored him for now, rushing at Aerol in a quick sprint, and swinging her scythe at her. She needed to get close enough that Aerol couldn't safely fire her weapon.

Evan tried to creep around until he was behind Sharlin, where she wouldn't see him, and worked his way towards her, hoping to get to her and surprise attack her before she noticed him.

The Greenspine remembered when Berin had first wormed his way into its head. Yeah, it didn't want him to shame it.

It was a very far fetched plan.

First, I tried to kill it by poking the eyes out.

Next, it caught me out of the water, and so IMMEDIATELY caught me with its vines, and then I tried to hack the vines away.

Next, I noticed that Berin’s mentality was very similar to that of a spore manipulator, and made the argument that a) anyone can be one, and b) the vines the greenspine uses could not be Spore eater vines because Spore eaters can’t control their own vines.

Aerol, who was not in a tree, slung the shard-harpoon (sharpoon?) over her shoulder and pulled out two knives.

Reef swooped down from the sky and slashed at Sharlin's eyes.
