He took a nervous breath as he stepped out of the kayak.

I'm as ready as I'll ever be.

Evan pulled out his tomahawks and slowly walked toward the tree line.

She followed, and Reef took off into the sky, his coloring making him especially hard to spot.

Careful.

"Woman be out going doing the cha-cha slide while I'm dancing a waltz with a massive beast, seems fair." Squall muttered to himself.

Sharlin continued to circle down the treeline, looking for them.

They were already in the treeline.

Aerol advanced cautiously, eyes darting towards every flicker of movement in the trees.

Evan made sure to watch especially close where he was walking.

It's probably smart to keep Sak close to us for mental protection, but I can send off my other bird to check for other tributes.

Evan quickly pictures the other tributes hoping the image would transfer to his other bird.

"Screech if you see any of them" he thought in his head to his bird as he held out his hand so that it could take off and search for other tributes.

Squall splits the vine in half with his knife.

"I mean, i might need help in a bit, but right now im fine" he said arrogantly.

The Greenspine leaps up at him with jaws outstretched.

How thick is this tree's trunk?

The Greenspine paces around at the bottom of the tree, carefully watching Squall as it considers its next move.

“You could probable just… shoot a spine spike at im or something.”

Well I'm wondering if the tree is thin or big because if it's the former the Greenspine is going to knock it over and if it's the latter then it can support its weight so it can climb

Upon not seeing them, Sharlin gave up and slid to the ground.

She hunted around the forest floor for a few minutes with no success. "You'd think they'd make it easy to find each other on the final arena . . ."

Sharuel came to perch on her shoulder as she stood, trying to decide what to do next.

The ground stopped sloping up and a tall tree stood at the highest point of the hill.

"Good or bad idea Sharp?"

Hhhhmmmmmm . . . the Greenspine might see you.

"But I'll see it coming first."

True.

Sharlin started hiking up to the tree, trying to be as stealthy as possible.

As she approached the top, she realized she could see the whole island.

She could see a bird flying above the tree tops that kept circling back to a spot in the trees on the far side of the island.

Evan! Look!

Sharlin spotted the bird.

"Jackpot! Now we can finally fight. Y'know, I haven't gotten into a fight all games? It's so unfair!"

I'd call it luck, personally

"Luck is too boring," She replied as she slid down the tree and started jogging in the direction of the spot she'd seen.

I was talking about the bird that @Exotic Almond is controlling cuz I sent it out to look around

He glanced up and saw a flicker of motion in one of the trees at the top of the island.

Let's just get this over with...

He began walking towards the center of the island, pausing slightly to see if she would follow.

She did.

Nervously.

You ready?

Yeah... time to get back to my brothers.

He pulled out his tomahawks and begin looking for any signs of tributes in the forest ahead.
