I gotta roleplay this man to a T or I'm not gonna survive.

believe me, I absolutely want to hop into the water and swim, but squall would never unless he has a clear advantage he can exploit the heck out of.

Squall looks through his notebook, or at least he appears to be. in reality, he's watching his companions to see what they do. I can tell Sharlin would tell all of us about the items in the cave. I don't know about Winter though. He seems like too much of a wild card. The logical guess would be to send Sharlin, and Winter seems rather attached to Sharlin. I can use this to my advantage later. Winter is likely to do what Sharlin does, so they would call out what they find and I can figure out what's in the cave at no risk to myself...

Squall thinks for a second. "I can swim, just not very well. however, if we could build a boat... im sure i have blueprints somewhere..." he takes out his notebook and begins flipping through it.

Sharlin being the only one insane enough for this is really funny actually

"Well, if you guys are going to stay back, then I'm going!"

Sharlin tied her back so it was out of her face. After some hesitation, she put her crossbow in her bag, and then tucked it in among the rocks. She kept her small knife on her, though.

If you die, we can hang out in purgatory if yah want.

"That's a nice sentiment!"

She dove in before she consider whether it was a bad idea or not. Luckily, it wasn't very far, and she swam the space in just a few minutes. The real challenge was avoiding rocks, but she managed.

She pulled herself out of the water, and onto the ledge where the cave began.

Maj spins and swings his machete at the vine.

*Me with no idea if the machete is sharp enough*

@BlueWildRye

That particular vine falls to the floor, cut in half.

Winter watches as Sharlin recklessly jumps in the water and enters the cave. One of these times she’s going to run into something dangerous and die.
“Are you ok?” he calls after her.

The cave was fairly spacious, with a high ceiling. Most of it was flooded. To Sharlin's left, across the pool of water that filled the cave, was a large exit out to the open ocean, where light came through and illuminated the rest of the cave. To her right was another rocky outcropping, where a sleek motorboat was docked.

That's a chance, at least. Maj takes a step back, wary of the mass of vines on the Greenspine's back.

Uh... I think a machete is a better cutting implement than a bird.

Yeah, a machete is gonna do a bit more damage against a lone vine than a bird will against a bunch of vines.

Aerol saw a different person on the beach.

Okay, is that you? she thought to Evan.

Evan sees two people a little way into the water sitting in a canoe. "Who is "you"? Are you the one in the canoe cuz I'm the one waving at you." Evan waves at the tributes.
