September sighed. "Father is always telling me that people will try to trick me because of . . . the way I am, and I don't want that to be that case but--well--he's also right most of the time."

"I know sweetheart, it's really scary."

He crouched down to be at her level, "I'll keep you safe okay?"

March slumps to the side, causing his blade to yank to the side while it was still inside June. He let out another whimper.

February really truly frowned for the first time. He waved a hand towards Jerem, who quickly obliged him by handing Feb his sword.

"None of you people know the definition of surrender."

After a split second, just as Arke was landing, February was there in-between him and March, sword ready. He slammed forward at Arke, sword pointed at his middle.

Arke fell away from the sword, then slams his head up at February.

Arke is honestly conflicted. he doesn't know exactly what to do, so he's just trying to not kill people.

He was unable to leap back because March and June where in the way, so instead he attempts to bring his sword hilt back in time to slam it into Arke's head.

Riight, but his post didn't mention them?

"Oh yeah, sure . . . I'm sorry for not believing you, it's just such a wild story. Surely, my father would have told me about such things if they were true." He handed the necklace back to her. "I don't think he'd want me to be a month so badly if he knew it was as bad as you say . . ."

----

"May, you should run," December said in an even, but dark tone.

"W-what? No, we should all stay together, I'm sure she doesn't want to be alone," Jan said, strained. He was clearly still regretting not gagging her.

"He'll kill you, run." December was edging towards the side of the hallway, wear a decorative table and vase stood.

"December is . . She's trying to scare you! It's a fun game we play sometimes, but she should know better then to play games at a time like this, right?" January continued to May.

Arke uses physics to his advantage and slams his head into the sword so it'll slam into February.

"Which means that logically, you should be too! I don't understand why one of you should be treated differently--and anyway, whether you were kidnapped is irrelevant to the current conflict."

Okay, I hear you, but I was thinking the sword hilt was coming at him from the back/to the side, so if he hit his head into it, it wouldn't hit feb

like this:

February tries to stab Arke

image.png.0f3878696260cc2f078b9a3c20191975.png

Arke dodges, attempting to slam his head into Feb:

image.png.9b82ef3539b7858c6f3895464a8a8bc0.png

Feb bringing the sword back to hit Arke:

image.png.9015b32d0e05ddb9ec686036febc7fb3.png

He's basically reversing his first thrust, so to hit his head into the sword, Arke would have to slam backward, and it wouldn't effect Feb besides maybe causing him to drop his sword.

December sighed frustratedly. She accidentally back too far into the table, and the vase fell onto the floor and shattered.

February doesn't hit Arke's stomach, he hits a steel wall. well, he does, its just that it doesn't do a whole lot beside knocking a bit of air from him. Arke smiles quietly and proceeds to slam a palm directly into February's chest.

"Yes." March said, "I've made this clear already, he killed my Father."

"For heavens sake just do it!" October yelled form across the room.

"Look kid, if you don't get out of the way, I'll kill you too."

January was pulling December down one of the silent halls of the palace, his grip on her arm was tight and his head was sweaty.

If the fight was still going on, they had no way of knowing. December couldn't here any sounds of battle, but it may have fallen into a stand off.

"What's your plan with all this?" She asked as he pulled her down a red-carpeted hall that seemed more narrow then was standard.

"I should have gagged you back at the mansion," Jan grumbled in return.

"I mean, if you show up with me tied up that will just make February more angry and he'll kill you . . . if you threaten to hurt me, he'll kill you, I don't see this going your way."

January just continued to pull her forward, not answering.

Okay, with September, I'm trying to give you an opening in his logic for April to correct him and prove him wrong.
