Eventually, May pulled August around a corner into one of the larger halls back behind the throne room. It was mostly dark, light only coming from another corner and a few of the doorways.

He saw something move at the far end, and come to a stop.

"Hello?"

April faltered in going forward (which might make September stumble). "August?"
