Arke oomphs at the impact, gets thrown back a few feet, but is back up and sweeps Jordan's legs out from under him.

He mostly kept to himself, but he would talk to July very often. He read a lot on the journey, and seemed rather pessimistic about most things. He keeps his expensive clothing clean and takes care of it, unlike a noblemen who wouldn't know how and have servants do it for him. He may have mentioned being born in another country to the south.

Not much really, he's pretty mysterious. I don't think he'd have interacted with her a lot.

The third soldier has noticed what's happening by now, and he runs over. This one is shorter and blonde. He draws his sword and swings it at Niamh, seeing her hurt Jordan.

Niamh noticed the sword too late and cried out.

The man stared at her, expression unreadable, closer then was probably comfortable.

His eyes searched her face, looking for a lie.

"You really don't know anything, huh?" He backed away, but didn't let go of her. "Dang, and I thought you'd be useful--I might've gotten a promotion!"

She put her shaky hands over her shaking lip. Her eyes closed, and tears began to trail.

Arke holds up a dagger, sighs, then throws it, nicking the neck of the soldier with the kunai. There's a note he also throws. "If i wanted you dead, you would be"

"Careful little boy." He pressed the blade closer to Jolane's neck, and the skin broke letting out a single drop of blood. "If I wanted her dead, she would be."

"All you have to do, is put your weapons down and leave, okay?" He adjusted his grip on Jolane.

"Nice and simple. Let the noble folk have their duel, and us common folk will pay no mind, how about that?"
