Scars of Hathsin he/him Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 Arranis glances through the trees, where his small one man tent was set up. Fighting again? he groans to himself. Picking his strung bow off the ground. He watches from the shadows, noting the duel. "Wouldn't be fair to shoot someone in a duel" he smiles
BlueWildRye he/him Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 Sutter grimaced as he finished dumping the last pile of dirt back into the freshly dug grave. Dana appeared in the fog, walking up to him and eyeing the grave. "It's good that Nell is finally gone," she said. Dana was a gangly woman with boyish features, wearing trousers and boots underneath a long tunic. "You were his sister. Why did you hate him so?" asked Sutter in return. "He was annoying and overly fervent," replied Dana, "And suspicious of me." "What is it you made, anyway? What kind of 'witchcraft', huh?" Dana laughed. "You'll see eventually, cousin. Tell me, are you going to avenge Nelan's death?" Sutter shrugged, not giving a response. But he knew in his heart that he couldn't avenge him, simply because he was a coward. He took one last look at the grave before wandering away.
