Kaladin and his flute (spoiler for Szeth flashbacks that have been out there for two years but haven't yet been officially released)

So, Kaladin finally learns to play the flute. And Szeth loves (or at least loved) dancing to the flute. And the two are going to Shinovar together. We have final confirmation of this thanks to the blurb on amazon.

I try to imagine Szeth dancing while Kaladin is playing the flute... and fail horribly.

Maybe at first Kaladin plays when he thinks he's alone, and Szeth hears it and starts to dance. But still: today's Szeth dancing, even when unseen?!

Kaladin might try to help Szeth like he did with those with war trauma. But still: using the flute?!

And yet, Kaladin learning the flute and Szeth dancing to the flute cannot possibly be coincidence!

So I put it to you: can anyone imagine how anything like this might come to pass? I cannot, and yet I feel sure it's going to happen. Somehow. Somewhere. Sometime.

What if the first flashback comes just after Szeth hears Kaladin playing the flute?

Certainly not a coincidence. They go to Shinovar to cleanse the Shin and help Ishar, but I suspect that this dynamic will be the major plot line for them and they will revive the Wind or something.

Both Szeth and Kal have strong relationships with the wind from an early age.

I'm dying at the image of the two most deadly serious major characters in these books dancing and playing the flute together. Kaladin doing a little jig while playing the flute as Szeth literally dances up a wall and onto the ceiling.  :)

The thing is, Kaladin is not very good at playing the flute, like at all. And he is not going to learn it in a couple of days. So it is more like Kaladin playing the flute horribly and Szeth dancing while trying not to run away as fast as he can. Which is still hilarious.
