BTW for all you American HS'ers, def recommend doing tutoring for both the ACT/PSAT if possible, as they're both things you can vastly improve just by knowing tips and tricks. It helped me a lot Duly noted. 1

(I'm not a natural genius believe it or not). My school had it as an elective that I didn't have room to take, but there was a senior I vaguely knew who got a 36 (and really good on the PSAT, he was a National Merit Finalist), so I did tutoring from him. Uh fun fact, I took the ACT 3 times (once each in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades) and got lower scores the latter two times (Tho the first time was with tutoring) 5 minutes ago, Clinically insane said: Any advice? On the reading section, always read the questions first, so you know what to look for when you go through the reading. And underline as you go Math just the basic stuff of don't spend a long time on the ones you're unsure on, do the ones you're confident on first. Science is basically just reading 2, so just figure out which random stuff you can ignore, and just focus on the info that is useful for the problems The main thing is to just take a bunch of practice tests too, so you're used to the kinds of problems there are. Ultimately there's only a few different types of questions on some different parts, tho I don't remember them all xD

It's really storming easy like you just need a strong thesis and a couple paragraphs and a good close and your set. For any others I dunno. *takes notes* gotcha Just now, Halcyon The Only said: Uhhhhh do good be good Right Easy

My mom wants me to take the ap classes or congruent enrollment classes. I dunno tho My friends think I should to. And also they are so i should too.

IMO it's better to do congruent enrollment classes, tho both are good. Downside to AP classes is you could do the whole class only to not pass the AP Exam, in which case you don't get any college credit. But going into college with a bunch of credits out of the way is sooo nice. College concurrent classes are guaranteed credit if you pass the class tho, so I advocate for those more.

I want to do those ones to but my schools got like two congruent enrollment both for subjects im not interested in. Im thinking of being a teacher, then like as a hobby make music ya know? But i have no clue what id teach. Rn im thinking band cause me do be liking musics but also WHAT DEGREE DO YOU GET to do that? Bruh im a freshman i should not be wondering about that yet i still have three more years
#1 Taln Fan he/him Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 3 minutes ago, Clinically insane said: Bruh im a freshman i should not be wondering about that yet Correct xD You can also just do college congruent classes for basic pre-reqs, like your basic chem, bio, history, comp, etc. that you'll have to do no matter your major. Sometimes local smaller colleges will also have online classes you can take for credit, though whether your school will count it depends on your school 1

I would die in an ag class. and for the science there was geology or biology and so next year i get a class about. rocks how entertaining. prolly gonna change dat to bio…. i hate registrations cause they sit you down and like. “aight quickly choose what your entire next school year is gonna be” IM TO INDESICSIVE FOR THAT. bruhhh and i signed myself up for ap world history
