The more strands they can control at once, the more raw power they have. just want to confirm that my new character was approved?

Unintelligenius he/him Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 Name: Quelkin Age: 14 Pronouns: He/Him Which planet does their investiture come from? Scadrial, Taldian, & Roshar What is their power/what are they? He is a thug so he can burn pewter pretty well, can control one ribbon of sand, and is bonded to an honorspren and is of the first ideal. How well can they use their magic? Quelkin has been burning pewter ever since he was five, first to train per his parents requests, then to fight to survive so he is pretty good at burning pewter. But he doesn't really know how to use his ribbon of sand or his bond with his spren. What are you going to do to keep your character from being overpowered? Quelkin is very new having a ribbon of sand and having a spren. Character’s motivation for being in the games: He wants fame and money to he can take down the government and their backstabbing politics. Important pieces of their backstory: Quelkin ran away from home when he was seven after discovering that his parents had murdered other house leaders to gain more power. He wanted to be away from his parents but also wants to take down the nobility. He survived on the streets for three years while his whole family thought he was dead. One day he was starving and a white haired, hawkish faced man introduced him to a flying little soldier, named Nacho. A month later he was cornered by policemen and just threw out his hands and the sand beneath the officers feet flew out and he was able to escape. Over the next few months he realized that he had to gain money and followers if he was going to take down the government. So he decided to enter himself into the Hunger Games.

Guest Ψιτιsτηε Βεsτ Posted May 8, 2024 Posted May 8, 2024 Bah, okay, I AM IN! Name: Ka-- Eh hem... sorry, No repeats, it is a good policy. The name is Patrik. Gender: Male Power/Investure: Patrik has 2000 breaths to his name. Well, his soul really, but yeah. Skill: Patrik has been trained nearly his entire life to use breaths, and make weapons to fight. His skill is vital to his identity, he hasn't been defined by much more. Overpowered: The hunger Games is not just a challenge to see who can perform tasks in a spectacle. In the arena, its not much more than a dog fight. Patri has been trained into the ground, but he has never actually...fought. This might not seem like such a disadvantage, but when you throw a kid who whose lived luxury into a pit of wild hounds, no matter how much dog training he has done, it gonna be tough. He may panic, or simply give up. Motivation: Simple, Patrik has been pushed by his father to develop the family wealth. His father sees this as a practically no risk opportunity to become rich and, as rumor has it, Politically very powerful. Backstory: Patrik never asked for this life. But he has been a dummy for his father through it all. He has a deep hatred for being told what to do buried in him. Let's do this.
