Terrance was with them, that was good. As they got closer, however, she saw that there was blood on his head. She stumbled over, concerned. Jenny noticed Ed’s legs shaking and felt a pang of guilt. “I think I’m ok to walk the rest of the way.” This technically wasn’t a lie. She could probably make it the rest of the way now that she had gotten some sleep, although it certainly wasn’t going to be pleasant.

Focusing to shrink it down to the size of a needle, he used it to scratch small cuts onto a part of his arm hidden from view.
