No problem!

Jenny smiled back. Elsie seemed to still be happy. That probably meant she wasn’t upset with Jenny. She visibly leaned on Gift more heavily, wishing that everyone else would hurry up. Walking wouldn’t make her tiredness lessen any, but it would shorten the amount of time she had to stay on her feet.

Edgar started waking. “Let’s get moving.”

“Let me know if you want me to carry you or something.”

The fatigue didn't go away, and Terrance decided he needed to get rest somehow. When no one was looking, he stepped into the trees and promptly became unseen.

Jenny nodded, already breathing heavily after a few steps. For some reason, she was becoming incredibly tired incredibly quickly. It was odd, and it was even odder that she wasn’t curious about why.

”Could I maybe get a piggyback ride?”

She felt bad asking Ed for this when he was probably exhausted too, but if she collapsed then that would just make things worse.

“Sure.” He stopped, then let her climb onto his back. Gift became a strange seat, spreading her weight across his body effectively.

“Thanks!”

Jenny looped her arms around Ed’s neck and let them dangle below it. She hoped that she wasn’t too heavy. She didn’t want to end up being too much of a burden on Ed. Gift was probably helping to prevent that, though. It really was handy.

Thank you too, Gift!

Jenny’s 5’4 and really skinny, so she shouldn’t be too terribly heavy.

Terrance sat down amidst the trees and closed his eyes. He could catch up later. Anyway, they probably wouldn't notice or care that he was gone.

Got it, he’ll go a couple miles before it really starts bothering him.

I am here to help.

“Of course, I’m happy to help.” He felt her added weight, but he ignored it for now. He continued walking.

Ed seemed like he wasn’t struggling to carry her, which was good. Hopefully the walk to the train wouldn’t be too long. She’d feel awful if he overspent his energy because of her. Jenny was still extremely tired, so she soon drifted off to sleep.

Edgar smiled as her hands relaxed and he felt her fall asleep. He walked carefully, trying not to jolt her awake.

"Wait." Elsie said, scanning the group. She walked over to Edgar. "Do you know where Terrance went?"

He looked around. “I’m not sure. He does this sometimes…disappears. He’ll find us again eventually, if he ever even left.”

She nodded slowly. "Ok... Hey, did you ever go to the camp thing?"

“I did, I’ve been there a few years. Why do you ask?” He kept his voice quiet.

"I was wondering what it's like. There are others like... Well, us, right? Are they kind?" She asked.

“You go and find the cabin corresponding to your godly parent, or the Hermes cabin if you’re unclaimed. You stay either for the summer or year round, we have classes, training, games, food. It should be everything a halfblood could want.” His voice was somewhat bitter.

“We have sword fighting, rock wall climbing, classes for learning Ancient Greek, stuff like that. And mine’s Hephaestus, that’s where Gift comes from.”

If you both end up skipping forward a bit at some point, Terrance might still not be there, which could raise concern if you think it would.
