In the new style of Shardcast we are answering a question from you each week!

Please keep it to something we can answer within a few minutes, preferably no longer than 15 minutes. The question we answered in the first episode was "Can Hemergy be fueled by something other than metal".

It doesn't have to be a question we have an answer for. If we don't, we will speculate on the answer for a few minutes. If it is something we have an answer for we will do our best to find the answer for you, and give it out.

So, what would you like to see answered?

What would be the most fatal injury that could happen to a Bloodmaker that they could survive. As in, we know they cannot survive decapitation, but what if their entire head was not severed, only 80% of it? Do you think they could live through that?

  • What happens to the Investiture that is "lost" through Hemalurgy?
  • What happens to the spren inside of a conjoined ruby when it is split?
  • Could you use a Hemalurgic spike to steal someone's boon and curse?

You don't need to answer all three, just the one that is the most interesting, I guess.

How is the type of investiture used determined?
IE how can I use stormlight to fuel breaths/ storing Stormlight to use at a later date as breaths/ storing Aons?

Kandra. Anything Kandra. Specifically:

  • Due to the Changeable nature of their bodies, How do Hemalurgic Bindpoints work?
  • What Organs do they absolutely Need, and can they do without Brains/hearts?
  • As of AoL, how many Generations are there?
  • If we took OreSeur's Spikes, and put them in a different Mistwraith, would that Mistwraith be a new Kandra, or Oreseur?
  • Can a Kandra have hollow bones?
  • Can a Kandra fly?
  • If a Kandra were to ingest the body of a Living Shardholder, what would happen?
  • Can a Kandra with Breath on Nalthis Return?
  • Can a Kandra become a Knight radiant?
  • How many Kandra Worldhoppers are there?

Addendum: does one of you guys have the actual bonafide source for this whole "decapitation kills" claim? The best I've yet been able to find is Chaos asserting it (quite possibly with good reason/WoB behind it, but still) over on the RPG site.

Hey guys, please keep this thread to ASKING questions, as opposed to answering. We're trying to gather questions that we can answer on upcoming episodes of Shardcast. Any answers that are posted in this thread will be hidden, and shamelessly stolen for the podcast. ;)

Carry on.

How do you think the mechanical allomancy, aka alloman-tech, of the southern continent work/what does it do?

Do you think we will ever actually see Mistborn: Birthright?
