Silas wanders away from the two noblewomen, bemused. That new one is… odd. He thinks heading to a new job.

Rezyn walked the familiar way to her keep with Pernia. As soon as Silas was out of sight she switched from her noblewoman bearing back to her street attitude, slouching and walking with a slight downward tilt of the head.

Kerst mulled that over. "We are simply trying to uncover the secrets of the government to see how far the corruption goes. You needn't be too interested." He paused, sensing skepticism. "We will succeed. Everyone back in that room has either the mind, the cunning, or the ruthlessness to achieve the status they now enjoy."

Sleeper grins. "Only reason im not a nobleman, in those terms, is because i chose not to be. are you sure you cant use me? I can take out the corruption rather easily..."

Kerst eyed him. "'Taking out' isn't the preferred method, though it might become necessary at some point. For now..." he was silent a moment, thinking. "Are you from around here, man? How old are you?" He asked the questions abruptly, trying to catch Sleeper off guard.
