The constant knowledge that if you pull something you are creating a homing projectile against yourself must be kind of brutal. We saw wooden shields stop a lot of those things and work well but it still brings some inherent danger with that power. What if you combined it with Awakening? We know Vivenna's cloak caught the arrow but would you put your trust into an awakened cloak to catch projectiles you are pulling as a lurcher? 1

Don't forget Pull's armor (AoL Ch 18): Spoiler He emptied it, firing all six rounds in rapid succession. The Lurcher turned, angling his chest toward Waxillium, sparks flying as the bullets hit his breastplate. Luck wasn’t with Waxillium—sometimes you could kill a Lurcher that way, as one of the bullets ricocheted toward his face or the plate at his chest got knocked free. Not this night. Awakening might help, but based on the possible speeds of projectiles I would think you would want to Command your construct to deflect projectiles rather than attempt to catch them. 2
