Pirates (of the Caribbean) RP— Come Join!

Jay came upon the crumbling wood. It had stopped burning so violently bow, but it still smoked heavily. Hey hours turned toward memeries as he stared into the curling fumes.  
When he had been 18, he immediately signed up for a crew on a ship called The Stargazer. It was manned by—even by his current standards— the worst crew possible. But Jay had a heart for the sea. He quickly became dependable, and was favored by the first mate. In fact, after a careful mutiny, putting the first mate in charge, Jay was in line glide the ship itself, only five years experience on the ocean. That night, pirates attacked. Not pirates, murderers. The most of crew of Desa. Infoumously known to charge ships with slaves and kill all, light it on fire, then leave the ship, and its bounty alone, until more came,  who they would kill. 
Jay survived. He never knew why. One of the crew had charge him, stared him in the eye, weapon pointed at his temple, fire blazing in his eyes as much as it did on the sails, and stopped. After that, he was invisible to the rest of the pirates. He jumped into the water, and woke to find the body of that same pirate. Dead. Years later he found it was his father. He found that he had pirate in his blood. He then went on with his inheritance of pirating. The rest came naturally. But he would never forget that night.
Fire would always bring him back there. Because he remembered it all. Abnormally. Every single detail was engraved into his mind. And suddenly it clicked. The map had shown a symbol over the treasure. A crow on fire. 
The symbol of the same crew that haunted his mind. 
They were out to find their treasure.

Roger smelled the smoke as he approached. it wasn't as nice a smell as black powder, but given the circumstance this was the closest thing he had. "Err, Captain Jay sir? Are you alright?"

Spook looked around and saw no sign of any other people in the area.

“Just…memories. Let’s go somewhere else. The charred wood doesn’t give as much shelter as I thought. Did anybody grab a compass?”

"shame not. why dont we just follow our footsteps going that way" spook asked pointing in a direction that definitely was not the way they had come from. there were steps there though leading towards the cabin.

"I don't think that's the way we came" Roger mumbles as he pushes debree aside. He follows along behind starting to question, in his mind, the capability of the captain and crew. He never noticed them much before as he mostly sat bellow deck thinking of new ways to blow stuff up.

"onwards!" spook says entusiasticly down several turnings that you definitely don't remember past several trees you don't remember into a deep dark forest that you definitely should avoid.

Meanwhile, Ted hadn’t followed everyone else he was still poking around the cabin as he was poking around, he saw of metal. He went over to it and found that it was a trap door, opened it and saw dark shaft with a ladder going down with a little glow at the bottom he climbed down at the bottom. There were torches illuminated the cave, full supplies and gold and other valuables he started to carry as many up as he could. Then he got out a large bag and stuffed as much as he couldn’t twit and dragged it along. After where he thought they had went, which was back in the direction they came however, he didn’t see their steps going back because he was actually on the right path. He went back to where their ship had wrecked and found no one, he then climbed a tree looking for them and saw them off on some other strange path. He climbed down and started running after them once he caught up he said “hey guys what did I miss? Where are you guys going?”

“Yeah, I found some gold, food and other fun stuff in a little celler near the cabin brought some in this bag also anyone know the way back? cause I kinda got lost getting here”.

“Um… I just came from the camp, and I certainly didn’t come on this path, and I meant back to the cabin that burnt down so that we could get more of the food and valuables”.

"what are you going on about? this is the right way. deeper into the forest away from the beach and small group of people next to that destroyed pirate ship."
