"Meh!" She sticks her tongue out at you. "A windpipe?"

It slips out, and a wide hole begins to get wider; if it gets any bigger, you'll be sleeping in a puddle.

Norelt quickly began patching the leak, doing his best to keep the hole from expanding at all.

The painted man turns his head to look at you. His eyes are cold and dead, like a fish, but with a spark of madness.
Flash

You know they come for you, you and your daughter, here at the end. They want to feed on you, your spark, your blood, your voice. You cannot allow it. If they feed on the power running through your veins, this age of blood and shadow shall never end.
You are the Last.

You must never die.

FOR THE WORLD WOULD DIE WITH YOU.

Laegon snaps back to reality. He looks at the next painting.

....It tickles a memory at the back of your head, Not something you heard, or your father, nor your father before that. Older, a city that once was, perhaps the first city that ever was.

R'lyeh

Mankind has forgotten about this city. Perhaps it is what you seek?

Laegon lets out a long groan and kicks the wall. He picks up the paintings of the man and the city, holds them facing each other, and goes back to the entrance room.

It remains unchanged.

Honestly I have no idea.

M'kay here's my thought process:

The ring comes from something right? So it could come from a bell because bells ring.

So I was like, okay, Chiyo needs to find a bell and ring it.

Where's an obvious place for a big mansion to have bells? A bell tower.

That's why I kept asking for windows, or kept trying to get outside, because then I could get an idea of where the bell tower is. (If there was one).

But when she wouldn't let me leave I thought maybe I could circle the conversation back around the bells and maybe get another helpful reaction from her.

So, the answer is a bell tower, cause it sits on your roof and sings.

(I'm not surprised if I'm completely wrong about all this btw)

Oh. There are windows in the hall, which none of you looked out (hehe) and walking by the windows is not particularly dangerous for you. She'll let you leave once you've said she's right.

"OH a belltower! Papa loves bells!"

"OW YOURSELF %#%&#*#%"

Chiyo exists through the door. She looks out the windows to see if she can spot the belltower.

The land is desolate; nothing can be seen for miles. A single dim star floats in a bloodred sky above a sea of monotonous grey stone. You can see no bell tower but the shadow of one, perhaps past the end of the hall, is at the corner of the window. You see the star twitch and turn toward you, watching, waiting.

"SURE YOU DID BUDDY"
You feel the overwhelming urge to cough as dirt clambers down your throat.

"Well no wonder she didn't want to go outside." Chiyo goes to the door at the end of the hall hoping it'll take her closer to the bell tower.
