Most everyone in the village had gone to the forest at some point, but Norelt stayed put. Best to avoid the forest until somebody figured out what was wrong with it. Instead, he went around and fixed everyone's roofs.

"I don't want you to die . . ." Chiyo pulled out the suspiciously long and thin package she had carried with her. She unwrapped the fabric to reveal a wicked looking sword. She tied it to her waist.

"B-but I don't want to die either so here we go."

She quickly grabbed her juggling balls before they proceeded further.
