This was springboarded by reading the annotations for HoA chapter 50some and seeing it explicitly mentioned that Kel's bones got back to the Homeland. So, they would have been underground when Sazed did his thing. So. We know this: -TenSoon can mimic Kelsier's body with his bones, which are presumably still around. -Kelsier is hanging out as a Cognitive Shadow, and can hold unattended shardpower to a limited extent . -Sazed has excess Ruin, which can- among other things- control kandra. I imagine this sequence of events: Sazed passes Kelsier a bit of excess Ruin, and watches carefully to make sure he doesn't get corrupted by it. TenSoon takes Kel's bones, and allows Kel!Ruin to control him. Voila, flesh-and-blood Kelsier. (They are all three making this plan from the start. I want to make that really clear, otherwise it gets a little bit too far into dark-alley territory.) 6
Fallen Rope he/him Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 The excess ruin would likely corrupt Kelsier, but I think he might of kept some of Preservations power so that should balance it out. If he doesn't come back with a body he's going to use his piece of Preservation to interfere.

I think Vin swept him off all of Preservation when she took it, but Saze might give him a bit of that too so he can hold them longer at a stretch. He'd be spending plenty of time *not* holding power, so that should let him recover from the personality-warping.

(Self-explanatory) Echoes of what someone did in life... (Kelsier seeing what his religion turned into) An echo of someone... (how Vin described OreSeur wearing Kelsier's corpse) Kelsier lives confirmed! Okay, that may be pushing the evidence a bit. Now back to my actual opinion on this theory.
