Poi
When rereading The Sunlit Man I noticed somthing intersting. When a scadrian uses an allomantic push on Sigzil she appears to be using some sort of a metal device on her arm. Quote Nomad lunged for the Investiture Cell, but she snatched it off the table and backed away, raising a hand and tapping the metal device on her glove. Instead he snatched the sunheart she’d been working on, the one they’d overcharged. Fortunately he didn’t have any metal on him, so— He was thrown violently backward, Pushed by something at his waist. His metal belt buckle. This implies that she used this device to give herself allomancy simliar to the bands of mourning, so does this mean that devices that can grant allomancy are now commonplace on scadrial? And if so what are the implications for mistborn era 3 and 4?

It's just a matter of time for technology could get there.

But unlike the unkeyed metalminds we still don't really understand how devices that transfer allmoancy work.

Probably some combination of harmonium/or metalminds unsealed and the temporary alomancy spike
drunkenbotanist
It's also possible the device did the allomancy not her, like a special form of allomantic grenade.

Maybe the scientific outpost is important enough to merit rare and extremely expensive equipment, or there is some elaborate backstory that explains why Random Mid-level Lab Assistant #7 has the one and only prototype "Pusher Glove".
A Simple Pilgrim
About her use of Allomancy, I also noticed that she probably used two powers. Sizgil has been described as a tall (for a non-rosharan) thickly muscled man who is also highly invested. He should significantly outweigh a normal Scadrian woman. Yet when the researcher pushed on him, she wasn't said to move and instead Sizgil was thrown against a wall. That makes me think that she also used her tech to increase her mass to do that. If a presumably non-allomancer researcher can use 2 powers at once with her tools, it stands to reason that they can probably use all the common powers. It will help lower the power difference between Roshar and Scadrial substantially if every Scadrian soldier could conceivably be turned into a mini Mistborn.

If she had a good anchor on her opposite side she could have stabilized herself with an opposing Steelpush when she threw Sigzil same as most Coinshots. You don't have to be a Crasher like Wax to do that trick. Currently, the Southern Scadrian medallions can only grant 2 abilities and rarely 3. Adding more powers or more medallions and they begin to interfere with each other so it wasn't an option in Era 2. Wax specifically suggesting strapping 16 medallions on to get all the powers and Allik said it wouldn't work. Whether or not this limitation has been solved by the time of TSM remains to be seen, but this scene wouldn't indicate that.

I could easily see a future were anyone could be a misting but only a few with the right genies could be mistborn.

A mistborn with limits, but yes, this would put the Scadrians closer to the glowing knights that can bend forces to their will.
