Well, he's the avatar of a very powerful god, so I'd say he could heal it. But given his current state of would probably have serious consequences for him, as he's afflicted with the pain (and some of the other things) from whoever he heals. So that could be interesting, maybe he gets the pain but now whatever god is angry at both of them.

But if you want him not to heal her, Death could also tell him not to because of those potential consequences.
