A small gasp made its way into her, and she stumbled forward.

She stumbled into him, knocking him back before he collapsed to the ground himself.

You may recall that he experiences the pain of what he heals many times over.

Turing flickered anxiously. "Are you both okay?"

She sighed. “I got stabbed five times in the chest and my clothes caught fire with me in them.”

29 minutes ago, The Aspiring Archivist said:

"Ah. Would you like any further healing?"

Pic noticed the newcomer. “Oh it’s you!” He exclaimed. “The guy who talks about He Who Silences.”

“I- sorry!”

”Uh- I am?”

Pic quickly caught Ave and helped her up.

“Th-thank you.”

She reached her hand to Lerac. “And you, too.”

@The Aspiring Archivist

Lerac was unresponsive for a long moment before taking Aventine's hand to pull himself up. "...Yes. Of course."

A trickle of blood ran from the corner of his mouth, and he wiped it away before looking down at his hand with morbid surprise. "That's new."

"I'm fine. Just a result of being disconnected from Death for a while, I'd guess. Looks I'm getting a little more than just the pain of my healing now."

"No, it's okay. I'm fine, really. It just means I'm probably going to get called back to work soon." His voice, though never particularly emotive, was genuine and kind.

She met his eyes, hers wet and reflective. “A-are you sure?”

He looked back at her steadily. "Yeah. My connection to him lets me heal myself very well, so I can withstand the increased consequences of my healing. It just seems like that effect has weakened a bit. I'm already healed, I just got a bit overwhelmed. I'm sorry for scaring you."

She took a deep breath. “Okay, okay…”

For the clinic, the shard in general, or the trend of glowy light beings? (I think that one’s already a thing - maybe this qualifies as a fan fiction example)

The clinic. This would count as an Rp, not fanfiction.

Huh. I didn’t know that was a category, but ok. (Also Veer is still looking through the book for interesting things, preferably about magic)

She squeezed his hand. “Hey, why don’t we go snitch something from the kitchen?”

“N-no. Turing was.” She indicated the lights.

Turing raised an arm, still communicating tension somehow despite his lack of readable expression.

Lerac just shook his head. "I can't heal him."

Golden light still enveloped TAAron, and he shook with his sobs, barely seeming to hear her.

“TAAron, come on. It’ll be okay.” She tugged him to his feet. “Everything’s fine now. We can go back to the clinic— everything’s fine now.”
