Pic shrugs and smiles. “I did it once, it was actually kinda entertaining. No one else liked it though. Turns out no one likes actual zombies dancing the Thriller, only attractive ones.”

Pic’s smile only grew as she smiled at him. He made sure to keep pace with her on the way to the library, even as Jar Man ran ahead. 
 

The library was not far from the cafeteria. A few turns and hallways later, they stood in front of its ornate, massive entrance. The large doors had an impressive lock on them. 
 

Pic stood right in front of the door, and frowned at the lock.

“Could have something to do with it. In the med wing he realized he’d accidentally grabbed a book called Consuming Families of Science instead of an FCS one. Maybe we could try smashing it with a hammer or something?”

roy looks at the lock and closes his eyes. he places a hand on the door and feels nothing. no aura of magic. no pulse of life. not even any emotion. he couldn't even feel the field of atoms that all thing have. 

"the lock doesn't exist! yet we can feel and interact with it? its not an illusion as there would be an aura of magic if that was the case!"
