Pic smiled, and attempted to respond. However, for a few moments he could only mimic the sounds of the lute. He cleared his throat, and replied, with words this time.

Pic plucked a couple of strings and said in tune with the notes, "It's just a focus for what I do. Nowhere near as potent as wind instruments, but it allows me to multitask."

"You've seen me play music! I do whatever the music allows me to or leads me to do. More things are accomplished with a band rather than a soloist, however. In short, my music does what its singers desire."

Pic shrugged. "Some find it harder than others. For me, it comes almost as naturally as breathing. For others, even getting one note right is hard." Pic extends the lute towards Melody. "Want to find out?"
