Arranis walks into the mess hall to be greeted by the voice, "Hello" he calls out before seeing someone sitting at a table. He sits on the other side, "Hello" he holds out his hand to shake, "What is your name?"

"Melody." She shook his hand.

jar man looked blankly, then shrugs. "im fine with that"

As all this continued in the other world, a figure stood and watched, but no heed was paid to them. After all, they weren't attacking, so they didn't seem to pose a threat. This figure was different than the one who had contaminated the water supply, however they were the one who had gone through trial and error to develop AmNeSIAc. That was the only compound they created that the boss wanted, though.

The figure pulled a pouch from their pocket and sniffed it up their nose. Immediately, the complicated and painful thoughts that had been rising inside of them disappeared in a swirl similar to ecstasy. The boss had allowed them to continue making their mixtures, but not to use them in the main compound. Fine with them. They had access to all the chemicals they could ever desire.

They looked again to the struggle with the children, and specifically at Jar Man, with an intent but no desire. The effect of all they had inhaled over time - they were growing more apathetic. If their most recent development, AmNeSIAc, was defeated by a group of misfits in an insanity clinic, things wouldn't go well for them. They and the other figure, currently in the clinic itself, had to insure its success in a controlled environment. If it worked at the clinic, it would work everywhere.

Jar Man is in the other world, not the clinic...?

Suddenly, Jar Man was alone. In the distance, he saw a lifetime supply of drugs.

The drugs seemed to be calling to him. Jar Man felt a strong urge to consume them.

he takes more of his own. "i dont trust big piles of drugs."

Jar Man looked at the drugs. They were getting closer? He looked down at his legs and they were moving. Walking towards the drugs. Jar Man couldn't stop himself.

Meanwhile, Rue was separated. Everyone seemed to disappear. Off in the distance, she thought she saw someone. It was TAAron.

"Nice to meet you Melody, Might I say you have a nice name. So what has been happening?" he asks "as I have seemed to have lost my memory, which is something that would not happen to me normally" he shakes his head. "Yes I know it is missing, as I have made precautions against such things, Do you know how I can get them back?" @Aeoryi

"Did you drink the water? Or any liquids for that matter?" Melody asked, "I can help with memory retention, yes, but it is much easier if I know the cause."

"I think it is from a liquid source, if my gut instinct is correct and it normally is" he glances at her "You know, fortune"

"Okay. Then let me try." Melody concentrated on the task at hand.

A orange trail of light pathed around her, and touched Aranis' hand. Instantly, memories sprang to life that Melody could see.

Closing her eyes, she examined the problem farther, ignoring both her own memories screaming to be remembered and his memories, ever to be discovered.

"...memory blockage." She muttered, drawing on a separate stream of teal light to steel herself.

She refrained from looking at all his memories. That wasn't the point here, since in order to fix the problem as a whole, the smaller battlefields would have to be skipped.

She traced the string of light around carefully, establishing a connection between the lights and the memories. Pushing through the challenges of the mind that Aranis had, she eventually made it to where the actual crystal was. She ripped it out with a bit of Red light, making the shards appear as fine dust that landed in her hand.

Closing her hand, she opened her eyes, satisfied with her work. "That should work," she finally administered, "Tell me if it doesn't."

Arranis glances around, memories flooding back like a wave, clicking back into place, falling back into order, including the extra ones he had stored in his .. extra .. place. His clothes and body, flashing with power, as it was restored, and his clothes also rippled with stored power.

He calms down his magic fading back into it's natural routine. "How did they stop my memories, I had some of these in extra space, and they were still impacted, same with my abilities." He glances around, he needed to stop that person. "Thanks" he says
