Elsewhere....

The being arrived at its home. It removed its presence-covering cloak, but still, their face was covered in shadows, except for their mouth, which was curled in a smirk.

At least, it was, until their boss began to speak.

"They're dying. Someone is killing them."

They began to grimace. This couldn't be good for them.

“Sure,” Tal said. “I’d warn you, though, the clinic uses a lot of water.”

Rue was already gone, through a gateway to where she found Nameless on the ground.

“I would need a lot of investiture, more than I have with me. Does the clinic have a large source of investiture? A perpendicularity perhaps?”

He regained some of his memories when using stormlight to heal himself. He should know how to use his powers.

Nameless was barely breathing, eyes closed. Through the bond, Rue could feel him growing weaker.

Rue cursed and tried to heal him. Things would be a whole lot easier if I were better at this...

Random Hallway

Aventine had noticed Rue standing out of the corner of her eye. When Rue left, Aventine followed her over to Nameless, staying some distance away. "What's going on?" Aventine wasn't burning anything, but from Rue she felt...

Rue went through a gateway (basically a portal) and closed it behind her...

Tal nodded. "We have a few."

Melody sighed. "Why don't we go and get clean water and bring it back."

“Could you lead me to one of them? I’ll also need a large container to hold the water.”

"How large?"Aetherbound reaches into the water source and pulls out a barrel made from roseite. "We can make pretty much anything from this tainted water." He drops the barrel, which instantly shatters. "Though it may not be the best in terms of structural integrity."

The healing seemed to work, and Nameless’ breathing became more stable. He was still unconscious, however.

“Large enough to supply the patients of the clinic, as well as the basic functions that use water for a few days until a more stable water source is found.”

Rue frowned.

Cedric followed Tal.

“In your room. What did you do?”

Tal lead him to a glowing perpendicularity.

I’ll just assume that there is a large basin or some other kind of container there for the water.

Cedric inhaled deeply from the perpendicularity and burst alight with power. It was more than he’d held in years. In the next room there was a large metal container that filled the whole room. He used the power to soulcast the air inside of it into pure water. Cedric sat down exhausted from the effort. “Soulcast water probably won’t taste as well as normal, but it’s better than poisonous water. I don’t know how much the clinic uses, but I think this will be enough for a few days.”
