Eventually, some faint light reached them, dimly illuminating the two in grayish hues. TAAron looked terrified, gripping her hand as the air buffeted them. They were still falling, and fast.
Canada Lover Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Luna called out for TAAron, Rue, Arget, Mel, anyone, asking where they were. "Hello? Can anyone hear me?" @The Aspiring Archivist @Aeoryi @Edema Rue @Argenti

The light continued to grow brighter, until it was akin to the fun light of a winter morning, just before sunrise. To complement this, it was also very cold. Suddenly, the ground came into view. Or... the sea? Below them, the waterfall met a glassy plane of water, so flat and still it could have been glass, if not for the mild disturbances where the cascade meet the surface. The waves from that collision didn't seem to be nearly as widespread and chaotic as they should have been. Above the water, scattered about seemingly at random, floated tiny points of light. Each one had a twin, a reflection in the perfectly still, dark expanse.

Canada Lover Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Luna saw a faint light in the distance. She was worried. She dug through her bag and pulled out the extra inflatable raft in case she needed to break her fall.

His grip tightened as they rapidly approached the surface of the water, then landed. Thankfully, it seemed that it lacked the surface tension that would normally provide a painful, or in this case deadly, impact with the water. They simply fell in, deep, slowing down. The water was so perfectly clear that the illumination was mostly still present, even meters below the surface.

"You're alive!" @The Aspiring Archivist @Edema Rue Quote Luna is still falling at this point. Also the raft would not have helped at all of this was normal water. When Luna does hit the water, she'll just go straight under with it and then float back up, maybe.
Canada Lover Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Luna falls even farther. Quote ... when can she land?

He followed, and they were both able to get up to the air without much trouble. It felt odd without the normal tension at the surface of the liquid, but it was manageable. Whatever sea or ocean they were in, it was vast. There was no land in sight in any direction, though the waterfalls obscured their surroundings somewhat. "Well... we're here." A nearby point of light lazily floated toward them. Edited November 11, 2023 by The Aspiring Archivist
