Has anyone killed anyone else yet? If Rolen could get out of this storming hole in the ground there would be several deaths. Speaking of which, has the highstorm started to abate yet?

(please, no one take offense at this, I don’t mean it in a bad way, if that makes sense).

Gamemaker Call

Anansi sits back in his white padded chair, kicking his feet up on the desk. Screens covered in cameras and audio surround him, hundreds of sounds and images float around him as other gamemakers type furiously to manage everything.

A young man, probably 12 years old, walks up to him. He has similar features to Anansi, medium brown hair with dark olive skin. His eyes have a dark blue shade to them with gold flakes on the edges. He is of lean build, the biggest difference to Anansi.

You could never say Anansi was a lean man, he always had what his mother called “Natural Muscle.” However, as he’s gotten older some of that faded away. Still, the young man is nearly a clone of Anansi himself.

“The phone is ringing…” He mumbles, yet his voice is more noticeable than the endless audio and images around Anansi, it has a unique squeakiness to it.

“Is it now?” He leans over from his chair and picks up the phone, looking to see who could be bothering him as such an enjoyable time. Before he can even see the name the young boy answers his question.

“Your henchmen.” Anansi swats his hand at him, grinning his classic pearly smile.

“Don’t call them that… at least not when they can hear.” The boy leans on his chair.

“Well aren’t they?” He smiles back at Anansi.

“They are, but they don’t like to admit it. You’ll understand one day, pride corrupts people Cassy.” The boy cuts him off, a bit of a joking tone in his voice.

“I told you to stop calling me that, Ani.”

“And I told you to stop calling me Ani, looks like we are at a standstill.” They go silent for a minute just staring at each other before Anansi ruffles his hair.

“You're as stubborn and ridiculous as your mama.” The boy rolls his eyes.

“Nuh-uh. She fell in love with you.” I just grin at him.

“You know what, whatever Cassian, I don’t have time for this.” He pushes him off the chair playfully.

“Fine, Dad.” Cassian sticks his tongue out at Anansi.

“Now get on, I got a call to take.” He shoos him off before looking down at the still ringing phone. That boy sure was a lot like him whether he liked it or not. He chuckles to himself.

How’d I end up with an angel for a son…

Anansi answers the call and leans back.

“Anansi Bonswear, Head Gamemaker, speaking…”

I believe The Honorable One (Sage), [Redacted] (Red/[Redacted]), and Experience (Flylf) are currently in a small battle currently.

Indeed we are.

And for all the people gathering water...won't it be full of crem?

Komadori pushes his hand against the grown and using his powers makes a small pit in the ground, about barrel size. He then pushes his controls father and makes a piece of stone push out into the storm in a way that will mean water will run down into the hole.

He looks up at Ezrium. “You seen Sharp by any chance?”

Amyra had no luck finding anything to hold water.

Wow. I feel so ignored, Aerie muttered.

Oh right. Amyra summoned a shardbucket and placed it outside of the hut, waiting for it to fill.

Just so you guys are aware, loosing your item does not mean immediate death. So please, for the benefit of the games some of you end up giving up your items. It will be so much more fun if you make it harder for yourself and let the games play out logically.

Gamemaker Call

“Hey, Anan, I’m bored. No one’s dying, and—just a sec, hold on,” On the screen, Eddie starts typing rapidly, and the arena sky turns red. “Okay. I thought these tributes were going to be interesting!” Eddie complains, popping a piece of popcorn into her mouth. “They all looked so ready to kill each other, and we didn’t even get a bloodbath. Also, my microwave broke and I’m almost out of popcorn.”

We aren’t on Roshar, so it might not be pure but there’s no crem.

Gamemaker Call

Anansi rolls his eyes from behind the screen.

"They are just a little nervous Eddie, give them time. Warm them up. They'll give us the entertainment we seek..." He sighs. "They will or bad things will happen to them... and us." He mumbles the last little part.

"If you really want popcorn I'll find someone to bring you a microwave." He waves Cassian over and holds the phone against his shoulder so its quiet on Eddies end.

"Find someone to get me a microwave."

"For one of your hench-"

"Just get me the damn microwave." He shoos him away, going back to his call.

"I'll have one over soon. Who are you liking so far?"

“Living!” Bob calls out. “Living-while-deeeeaaaaad!”
Small illumination, looking like a stream of sunlight, enters the building.

Bob! they say. I was just spying on the other people! There was a fight starting when I left. I really wanted to see what happened. How come you dragged me away? You’re so mean sometimes, Bob. Living-while-dead says playfully.

“I don’t have time for this right now, Living. Could you just—could you turn into a bucket or something? Please?”

Fiiiiiiiiine. A Shardbucket appears out of the sunlight. What do I do now? They say cheerfully.

“Go out there and collect water. And if you see any edible chickens, tell me. Or someone named (insert name of person I forget the name of who’s item I’m supposed to steal here).”

Living-while-dead leaves to do so.

I’m assuming that this cave is full of gemstones like the other one.

Bob sucks in Stormlight and makes it seem like the cave and doesn’t exist, and hopes no one notices the Shardbucket hanging off the cliff.

GAMEMAKER CALL
“I have some ideas to make them have extreme difficulty!” Elan Gemerkechsteady said. “Should I throw one at them yet?”

The riddens begin, and the highstorm begins to die down.

“Oy!” Eddie says. “I’m not a henchman. They just don’t let me be in charge anymore, since…yeah.” She snorts. “Get that son of yours in line, would you? Hmmf. I don’t like any of ‘em. Even the careers stink. That Flylf is okay, at least she’s fighting. Hmmf. My games were much…nevermind. How long do you think until we can let the highstorm end?”

EDIT: whoops, very much ninja’d.

“Hiya Elan!” Eddie says. “Sounds epic!”

Amyra pulled her shardbucket inside the ruby hut, now that it was filled with water.

I don't even get acknowledgement? Aerielle said, as the shardbucket.

Thank you, Amyra rolled her eyes, Now... I need you in order to fight.

That's a problem, isn't it?

Yes. Where should I keep this water?

No idea.

Bury it?

Not smart.

Yeah.

And they were left at a standstill again.
