Arcanist Lupus he/him Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) This thread is similar to the three word story thread, only instead of making a story, we'll be making poems! Each person adds one line of the poem. When that poem is finished, we'll continue on with another poem! Admissible poetry forms include: Keteks Limericks (clean, please!) Haikus (ukiaHaiku festival standard) Haikus (5-7-5 Westernization*) Shakespearean Sonnets Bad rhymes are completely acceptable, and don't worry if you have to bend the meter to make it fit. That's where the fun is! If you have any poetry form you would like to add to the list, link its rules, and (if it's time for a new poem) start it out! Try to avoid anything longer than a sonnet, though. (No, epic poetry is not an acceptable poetry form!) Completed poems: Limericks: Out of the sea stepped a little old man, And he was quite heavily tanned, He channeled the Dor, And paneled the door, And then took a bath in the sand. *or more accurately, misunderstanding Edited December 21, 2011 by Sir Read-a-Lot
Arcanist Lupus he/him Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Let's start out with a limmerick: Out of the sea stepped a little old man,
Meandering Monotreme Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 And he was quite heavily tanned.
KChan she/her Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 He channeled the Dor (It had to be done.) 2
Kelek he/him Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 He blocked out the sun ( he thought he had won) (Story jumping like the 17th shard)
Meandering Monotreme Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 (But--but--but--but--...Kelek, your post confused me: did you just not see KChan's post or is something else going on?)
Musicspren he/him Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (picking up from KChan's) And paneled the door (it also had to be done)
Arcanist Lupus he/him Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 And then took a bath in the sand.
Ironeyes Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 So they talked about doors (This cosmeme will never die!)
