Hey, I have a WoB I want to add to the Atium page about how the retcon is actually likely as old as 2009

I thought we had reached a consensus that the Atium we see the characters use was the Electrum Alloy form?

Peter Ahlstrom

I thought myself so clever for coming up with this theory.

At this point I am in a position where I could confirm it or deny it.

However, my position also means that I must do no such thing.

Mwa ha ha ha ha.

This shows that the idea was actually there as old as 2009, with Peter saying he knows the answer. And we later learned that it is actually the truth. So, I feel we should add in that Refined Atium section about the Retcon actually being there for a while and not being as recent as people believe (that is, when it was revealed a year or so back).

Would add it myself, but the page is still Keeper Only.

Given how Brandon talked about this over the years (e.g., in changes he would make for a movie and calling it a "post-Era-1 retcon where I realized I need all the God Metals to do different things"), I think it's more likely that Brandon decided to do the retcon more recently. Peter's reasoning from the pre-2009 days may have played a role in convincing him, but I don't think anything we have now requires Brandon to have made the retcon that long ago.

Fair enough.
