"Do you think we're stupid, doc?"

"Honestly, yes. You never really struck me as the academic kind. Especially you two." He pointed at Allera and Aiya

"Fair enough. How many people have you killed?"

"Enough to learn a lesson, so too many too count. Now how many people have you saved?"

"Approximately sixteen million." Ayia brought out a knife, shoving it into his hands. "Right, you want us to listen to you more? You have sixty seconds to leave a mark on me."

Strohger quickly connected to the absurdly high amounts of tempest in the room. Then, with the full fury of air, tossed everything in the ship towards one side, and sent the knife flying after Ayia.

Variance stepped between them. "No. you-"

Variance, unaffected by the gust, caught him. Strohger felt a push back as he passed partially through Variance's arm, the fell to the ground.

Some ninjaing is happening here. What should I do? Variance doesn't want them to fight, and wouldn't let them if he could help it. Which he can.

Wind magic, huh? He never said anything about that.

By the time the flurry died down, she had caught the knife between two fingers. Ayia peered at him from behind it, then tossed it back. "Strike one. Try again."

Strohger just focused on a touch of tempest. The girl was breathing. He waited for her to talk, then forcibly sucked all the air out of her lungs, probably causing a winded breath effect.

She hadn't moved. "I'm not going to attack you at all. And that's ten seconds."

"What I was going to say is that we should refocus on the mission instead of resorting to violence over a petty argument."

The... seriously?

Ayia crossed her arms, glaring at the... wind wizard, apparently. She would've cussed at him, but unfortunately that wasn't an option.

Tempest had some intresting limitations, but was overall very useful. When the girl was too busy glaring and doing an Allera stance at him, he flew the knife directly at her foot.

"Enough, Strohger. And Ayia, I'm sure you know this is neither the time nor place to start a fight."

Ayia slid it out of the way. Unfortunate that there was now a knife sticking out the floor of Allera's perfectly good ship. She took in a breath to see if the doc was still trying to outbreathe her.

There was no air around the girl. Within seconds, she should be unconscious, since Strohger manipulated all the air away from the girl.

Variance invisibly stepped up to Strohger and planted the Perception blade into his back. He lost all sense, including that of his magic.

If he was going to play dirty, then she might as well too. Ayia sat down, leaving the knife, then checked her watch: she held up three fingers.

Strohger smiled. People could hold their breath for 3 minutes, but only if they had breathed a deep breathe before hand. The girl, had not. She would be falling unconscious real quickly soon and...

Tempest operates off of fourth, which is independent from senses or perception. It would cause some very not normal things to happen, and the air around in the beorin and Allera's spaceship started to compound, not fixing the no air problem, but instead making it apply to the whole ship. (The beorin one)

He has to be able to interact with his magic to do anything, and he can't do that if he has no sense of it.

[imagine tempest as a piece of cardboard, right? So basically, Strohger is attaching them to strings, and putting them in the air. Now imagine those strings get cut off, right? It's gonna cause some weird air stuff, since it believes it should be together and all that.]

Why would air believe it should be together? Air naturally disperses to fill a volume.
